Need Some Input

Hello internet. I can't really decide on a good belief to do. I wrote my unit two short write thing on the belief in the goodness of man, but I think that is kind of broad and it would be really hard to write seven hundred fifty word about it. I thought of another one but it makes it sound like I'm not religious which isn't entirely the case. The belief is that being a good person and having good morals has not connection whatsoever to being religious. Man chooses his own right and wrong. Just because someone goes to church a lot doesn't mean they actually abide by morals laid down by the church. Just like how someone who doesn't go to church is an ideal citizen, never committing acts of malice nature and always helping out their fellow man. Tell me how yall think about this one. I might try a different one if yall think this one is too touchy or sends the wrong message.

  1. That sounds like a good topic to me because it is so true! Going to church is part of being a christian, but it doesn't make you one. Just like going to school doesn't make you smart (for example: me). I would continue with that if I were you, but if there is something you want to do, go for it!

  2. I think you definitely have something going there. Like Daniel said, you don't have to go to church to be a christian. and just because you go to church doesn't mean you are one either. Being a Christian has to do with your relationship with Christ not necessarily what you do. So I would say go with your idea, it sounds like it has a lot of potential!
